Hit the Road, Jack!

Or actually, hit the road us! We recently made a rather random decision to take up mountain biking. Somehow owning a Suburban put me in the mood for adventure, so I headed over to Phat Tire and picked up a hitch-mount bike rack that can hold up to 5 bikes. And while I was at it, we picked up enough bikes for all of the people in our family who are not currently in diapers, along with a snazzy trailer for the little bits! : ) I am still sore from my first ride on Wednesday, but I am hoping to work it out today with a nice ride on the bike trail near our house.

It is going to take me awhile to get back into the kind of shape I need to be in to ride on the kind of terrain I want to be tackling, but I think it will totally be worth the effort! Mountain biking is about the closest thing you can get to snowboarding when you live in Arkansas!
