The $3 Camera

Jason posted this on our main business blog, and I thought it was interesting! Plus I love the pictures of our sweet girl!

From Jason:
Professional photographers spends thousands and thousands of dollars on the latest and greatest camera equipment. Sometimes though, some of the most fun I have in photography in stripping it down to its very simplest roots: just a basic camera and a roll of film. I was very excited to find this Diana film camera at a yard sale in Eureka Springs. I paid $3 for it, and am having a blast with it. Unlike digital photography, where sharpness and accuracy is key, shooting small film cameras is more about the mood of the picture, imperfections included. Here are a few images I took of our (almost two-year-old!) Norah, photographed with the Diana camera and a roll of Kodak Tri-X black and white film.
