He's so cute!
Thankfully today his levels had already dropped from 11-ish to 8-ish. He is still a little jaundiced, but under the treatment level so he gets at least a one-day break from the goggles and creepy blue lights! They said not to be surprised if he backslides and ends up back under the lights tomorrow, but that it should probably be over after that! I just can't wait until he is home with us. They are saying hopefully once he is done with his antibiotics on Tuesday he can room in on Tuesday night and probably go home on Wednesday!
A lot of things have to go just right for that to happen, but we are very hopeful. I miss my big kids so much! In the meantime, we will just cuddle during his feedings every 3 hours and enjoy our twice-daily nursing sessions... I'll take what I can get! : )
